D’Agostino wins Barber- Dodge Pro Series Scholarship
The 2003 Barber-Dodge
Pro Series Scholarship Shootout concluded its activities at the historic
Sebring International Raceway today with 18-year old Joe D’Agostino
taking top honors and a $100,000 Scholarship to race in the Pro Series
this upcoming year.
This year
there were six drivers selected from the Formula Dodge National Championship
for the Scholarship Shootout. Selected for the shootout were:

Bend, Oregon
Brian Frisselle--Kihei,
Hawaii
Philippe
Gelinas--Grand-Mere, Quebec
Matt Jaskol--Las
Vegas, Nevada
After two
days of intense competition D’Agostino was given the top honor
and had this to say “This was a great day for me and I can’t
thank the Skip Barber organization enough. They have supported me right
from the beginning with their ladder system and in less than one year
of racing cars my dream to drive the pro car has become a reality”.
